After Crown Insertion Instructions
HOW TO TAKE CARE...
► Wait for numbness to wear off before eating
► Care for your teeth by twice daily brushing, flossing, mouthwashing
► Touch-up whitening of adjacent teeth to the Porcelain Crowns as instructed
► Avoid biting hard objects like your finger-nails, pens, bones, forks and knifes, string, fishing line
IT'S NORMAL FOR . . .
► The numbness (anaesthetic) to last for up to 4-5 hours
► New shapes of teeth to effect your pronounciation for a day or two
► You to smile more!
ITS OK FOR . . .
► The teeth to be slightly sensitive to hot or cold food and drink (this will deminish over the following days)
► Your gums to be slightly red and tender
LET US KNOW IF . . .
► Your bite feels uneven
► You notice any roughness
► You experience tooth-ache (approximately 5% of crowned teeth will later need Root Canal)
